Lesotho
In January 2004 Sound Seekers sent a HARK! mobile ear clinic to Lesotho, a small independent country (and one of the world’s poorest) entirely landlocked within South Africa. We also provided audiology training to two nurses who are now successfully running this operation. Sadly the HARK! vehicle was irreparably damaged in an accident last year and we are currently seeking the means to replace it.
